Following the footsteps of Asin and Trisha, Vimala Raman is going to Bollywood. A film titled Ambapali which had Vyjantimala in the female lead role. This film is about a princess.This film is being remade after 30 years. Vimala Raman will be doing the role which Vyjantimala did in the original version. Ashutosh Gowariker who directed Jodha Akbar is directing this remake film.Salman Khan's relative is doing the lead role in this film. Vimala Raman has been paid a heavy amount as advance. Vimala Rani is very happy these days since the story is centered on her. She has given 90 days call sheet.
