Saumya Tandon (Dance India Dance Host)

She is an Indian actress has done ad films and have been the first runner-up at a Femina Cover Girl contest. She auditioned for the role of Rusty in Aisa Des Hai Mera in 2005 and got it in early 2006. She also shot for a music video, titled Barsaat (composed by Pravin Bharadwaj) and shall also be seen in the soap Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni on Star Plus as Ria. She is now anchoring a popular reality show on Zee TV called Dance India Dance. This is the highest rated non-fiction show on Indian television right now.

She is known for her role in the Sony TV aired soap Aisa Des Hai Mera, where she plays the role of a half-Brit girl named Rusty. Recently she starred in the Imtiaz Ali directed movie Jab We Met, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, where she plays the role of Kareena's sister, Roop.
