The Scientists

On this date in 1981, The Scientists released their self-titled debut album. It did not produce any singles. The band had actually broken up earlier in the year so this was a posthumous release. The Perth, Australia post punk band did re-form and finally disbanded in 1987 after four albums. The band went through numerous lineup changes during their existence. Kim Salmon was the only constant. They have briefly re-formed a few times since 1987.
