The Gifted Children - Painting By Numbers

On this date in 1981, The Gifted Children released their debut single, "Painting By Numbers". It was backed by "Lichtenstein Girl". This was yet another side project of Edward Ball and Daniel Treacy of The Television Personalities. The London post-punk/power pop band would not release another record under this name.
