Eurythmics - Belinda

On this date in 1981, Eurythmics released their second single, "Belinda". It was backed by "Heartbeat Heartbeat". The A side appeared on their debut album, In The Garden. The B side was a non-LP track that was added to the album when it was re-released on CD. The London new wave band was formed by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart when their previous band, The Tourists, disbanded. Eurythmics disbanded in 1990 but re-formed in 1999 and have some limited recordings and performances.
