On this date in 1980, Killing Joke released their third single, "Requiem". It was backed by "Change". The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album in the U.K. The B side did not but it was included on the U.S. version of the album. The London post-punk band disbanded in 1996 but re-formed a few years ago. The band has been touring recently with frontman Jaz Coleman, of course, at the front who is no longer living in Iceland preparing for the apocalypse. Yes, he once did that.
