Raavanan goes international



Mani Ratnam's 'Raavanan' is going to be first really global Tamil film in history. The film has raised a lot of expectations even in international markets. The film which was made in a budget of Rs. 120 crores is reportedly has sold for Rs. 350 crores. International distribution giants Sony Pictures and Reliance Big Picture have bought the world rights of 'Raavanan'.

According to some trade pundits 'Raavanan' will earn around Rs. 550 crores given the internationally popular stars and technicians in the credit. Mani Ratnam, Aishwarya Rai, A R Rahman and Resul Pookutty are international names that will generate interest from global audience.

Boosting the prospects are the exhibitors of Indian films in Europe and America who have offered unconditional co-operation to make 'Raavanan' the biggest ever Indian film in the world.
