Madhuri Dixit - born Madhuri Shankar Dixit on May 15, 1967 is an award-winning Indian Bollywood actress. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, she dominated Hindi cinema as a leading actress and an accomplished dancer. Appearing in numerous commercial successes and delivering a myriad of critically-acclaimed performances, Dixit has established herself as one of the most respected and prominent female actors in Bollywood. In 2008, she was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, by the Government of India.Film careerMadhuri Dixit made her acting debut in Abodh (1984). After a few minor and supporting roles, she landed the lead female role in Tezaab (1988), which shot her to stardom. She then went on to star in the hit films such as Ram Lakhan (1989), Parinda (1989), Tridev (1989), Kishen Kanhaiya (1990), Dil (1990), Saajan (1991), Beta (1992), Khalnayak (1993), Hum Aapke Hain Kaun! (1994), and Raja (1995).After a year of little success, she appeared as Pooja in the Yash Chopra blockbuster Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), for which she won her fourth Filmfare Best Actress Award.[2] In the same year, Dixit starred in Prakash Jha's critically acclaimed Mrityudand. The film straddled the boundary between an art and a commercial film. It won the Best Feature Film at the Cinéma Tout Ecran in Geneva, the Bangkok Film Festival and the Sansui Awards (Critics' Choice). Her performance in the film also landed her Best Actress awards at the Star Screen Awards and Sansui Awards.Her dance sequences, accompanying many famous Bollywood songs such as Ek Do Teen (from Tezaab), Bada Dukh Diya (from Ram Lakhan), Dhak Dhak (from Beta), Channe Ke Khet Mein (from Anjaam), Choli Ke Peechhe (from Khalnayak), Akhiyan Milaun (from Raja), Piya Ghar Aya (from Yaarana), Key Sera (from Pukar), Maar Daala (from Devdas), along with many others, have received abundant critical acclaim.In 2002, she starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas with Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai. Udhayanidhi does not want Trisha?

Even though Kuruvi was a success in terms of money, the fans of Vijay are not that happy with the outcome of the movie.

Vijay's girl friend snatched the opportunity from Nayan making her close one to fall on the foot of someone (Athu vera kathainnu cholraango!!!).

Now Udhayanidhi is planning to make his next project and this time the hero will be Vishal. Vishal propsed Trisha, as both have not paired in any of the movies, but Udhayanidhi on face informed Vishal that he is not ready to go with that female!

The only person willing to do movie with Trisha is her boy friend Vijay and soon he may also drop her if his movies continue to fail like ATM and Kuruvi!

The gal has finally learnt the ways of Bollywood. After a disastrous ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’, Soha Ali Khan has decided to shed her inhibitions and clothes for ‘Maxim’. So, all we can see is that things are getting hotter this season.

Abhishek-Aishwarya - Acting Together ???

It looks like marriage bug has taken over the Bachchan couple completely as they are just looking out for chances to act together in same movie. They are already working together in Mani Ratnam directed Lajjo and now it has become apparent that they are also going to work together in another movie, Rajiv Menon’s Dhun. Since the film is a musical love story, none other than AR Rahman has been handed over the music direction. Very clearly Abhishek and Aishwarya are making the most of working together by signing films together, which shows that they can now barely stand separately from each other and are always looking for chances to be in arms of each other.

Just a few days back, on their first marriage anniversary Aishwarya flew all the way from Mumbai to Miami to celebrate the day with her husband, and not to mention they had a great time there in each others company. Once the production on the two movies starts they will be having quite a lot of time to spend with each other working in Lajoo and Dhun, until that time Aishwarya, working on Robot with Rajnikanth, will have to bear the unbearable separation from Abhishek as even he is busy completing Dostana.

Even their fans will be awaiting to see the couple together.

Madhuri Dixit, who had reigned as the queen of Bollywood for a pretty long period, has been chosen for the prestigious Padma Shri Award for her contribution to the Indian Cinema which will be given to her on May 10. Madhuri, whose birthday is just a few days ahead, could not get a better reason for a grand celebration. She will be coming down from Florida for the award ceremony along with her husband Dr. Nene.

Madhuri was last seen in her comeback ‘Aaja Nachle’ which failed to create stirs on the box-office. Nonetheless, her fan following has not gone down by an inch. So, do we see M.F.Hussain celebrating already?
