With the debut mini-album "LET IT GO" released, SS501 Heo Young Saeng officially starts his solo activities. Thru the album which was released on 12 May, Heo Young Saeng now is not as a member of SS501 but as a solo using his dance songs and ballads to narrate his story.

Unfortunately, during the dance practice he hurt the back of his hand causing the release of his album to be delayed thus making his album to be quite unusual.  After going thru a tough process of preparation, the 1st solo comeback stage is making him exceptionally nervous.  NAVER Music also recorded after the album release day, the 1st TV broadcast story.  You will be presented the 1st stage of personal emotional moment.

On 13 May at KBS2 Music Show [MUSIC BANK], Kim Hyun Joong  was there to encourage Heo Young Saeng debut stage.  Kim Hyun Joong, Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong who was also there to show support took a "Hwaiting Photo", as a huge backup and support for the start of Heo Young Saeng solo activities.

Representing Korea, idol group SS501 have all gone to do their solo activities.  Kim Hyun Joong has participated in acting, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun have released their own solo albums.  Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong both have signed on together with a new company, and even held their fanmeeting together.  Recently Heo Young Saeng also released his own solo album.

"Almost 1 year, because I trusted my current company, thus I choose to change my previous company. During SS501 activities period, we have worked together before.  Now that I am in the same company as Lee Hyori noona, but due to her busy schedule, thus we only met each other twice.  In any case I feel that it's a pity.  Although group activities together would be the best, but still would like to have some solo activities. Currently I am quite upset separating from the members, but we still keep in contact."

During when Heo Young Saeng was having SS501 activities period, due to his outstanding vocals which is recognised by everyone making him stand out.  Young Saeng also naturally said that his image postion thus being recognised as that.  But this album however showcase his outstanding vocals and his musical talents.  Title song "LET IT GO" is a very unique lively dance melody, which features HyunA member of 4Minute who participated in the recording.

"During last Nov entering into the new company, start preparing for the new album. Only start album production in this Feb.  If the response for this album is good, we will only start the plan for overseas activities/promotions.  Of course, must sing. This time, "LET IT GO" comeback stage will showcase me and my 6 dancers.  I am very grateful to HyunA for helping me featuring in my song, but it seems that the fans are jealous."

12 May during the releasing of the album, other than the main title song, the album also consist of the song "OUT THE CLUB" which was produced by Tae Hwan who also produced RAIN's album, retro beat but full of modern feel "I'M BROKEN" and also "RAINY HEART" featuring Kyu Jong for the rap part.

During the process of the album preparations, Heo Young Saeng fratured his right hand while practicing for his dance, no choice but to delay the release of his album.  Even though he has not fully recover, he still insist to go on with the promotions.  Not only music activities, he also participated in all the recordings of the variety shows vigorously. We can see that Young Saeng is totally immersed in the album promotions with his energy and passion.

As a member of SS501, Heo Young Saeng stated: "Now that everyone of us will give each other encouragement. Currently it is hard for us to re-group together, but we will discuss this matter next year.  Now the aim is to concentrate in promoting my own solo album. The only word which I can introduce my album is "Change of image", put aside the image that I have SS501, everyone will know after they have seen it."

Following Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min amd Kim Hyung Jun, SS501 member Heo Young Saeng again as a solo singer starts his solo activities.

After a hiatus of 1 year, he released his 1st mini album "LET IT GO" and returned back to the fans side. For the 1st time to come on stage as a solo, in actual fact he is quite pressurized, but Young Saeng still gave a faint smile. 

"Feeling stress, not knowing whether can do it till the end.  But for the 1st time using my own name, feeling a little nervous standing on the stage, but I still enjoy the feeling."

Having said that, but the debut album's first stop in the process of making the album was produced with the company on behalf of the differences of opinion.

Initially Heo Young Saeng's debut album was suposed to be released in Feb.  But in order not to rush but to be careful in the album production, thus the album release was delayed.  During the process, Young Saeng had a fierce "war" with the company due to differences in ideas and opinion when accepting and recording of songs.

"I think this is the first SOLO album, I would like to start a new image, while the representatives that the melody is more important. "

"If were to go according to a fixed idea it will not be successful" must breakthrough from the expected, use a dance track as the main title song for his solo released, Heo Young Saeng listened to his company representative advise.

"According to the idea and after confirming the title song, then start to do my best for the dance choregraphy for this song." so that is how the title song "LET IT GO" was emerged.  This song can showcase Heo Young Saeng dance of passion.  As the main vocalist of SS501, many people believe that Young Saeng title song will definitely showcase his strength in ballad singing, but "LET IT GO" has break those people's thinking.  "If asked 10 people, there will be 8 people says that you will be singing ballads, it is because of this, thus we wanna break this this concept which people have, if we dont breakthrough this concept there are no chance of winning."

When Heo Young Saeng was practicing for his dance, his right hand knocked into the mirror of the dance practice room, causing a fracture, which needs 4 weeks to recuperate.  Even though his injuries caused the album to be delayed, but Young Saeng still remains optimistic: "With this delayed, in fact it can give me more time to be better prepared."  

Although he really miss the times when the 5 members are together, but the 5 together as 1 will be slightly delayed.  "Everyone now is with different companies, although we have idea of coming together again, but it is easier said than done.  After our solo activities have come to a total end, we will fix it next year to discuss this specific issue."

SS501 Heo Young Saeng Hot Favourite on Youtube

On the 4th May, the opening broadcast of Heo Young Saeng's 1st solo album "LET IT GO" teaser video caused the rising interest among fans. The teaser showed the modern charisma of Young Saeng and his comeback on 12 May.

The teaser vid after broadcast on 5th May, within a short day it has already more than 60,000 views, risen up as the top most commented vid, top most favorite vid among viewers and no.1 top rated vid. Not only Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc, Asia areas, even in Czech, Egypt, France, Saudi Arabia etc areas also gain extraordinary attention to the teaser vid.

Heo Young Saeng hurt the back of his hand before the release of his album.  He was diagnosed with dorsal fracture ligament rupture and needed 5 weeks time to recuperate. Due to this, the release of his album was delayed causing anxiety among fans.  A representative stated that: "Although Heo Young Saeng's hand now is still in a state of inconvenience, but he still go ahead and is in the preparation stage for his comeback."

4th May 2011, 11:03AM (KST) "LET IT GO" (Feat. HyunAh of 4Minute) teaser is finally released.

On the 4th morning , long awaited fans like the oasis in the desert, finally get to see the opening teaser from the mini album. Heo Young Saeng dressed in a neat suit wearing sunglasses, the teaser which adopt the strong contrast in black and white and gray intense colors, giving Young Saeng the added sophistication.

Initial released of Young Saeng's album on 28th Apr was delayed, due to his sudden injuries on the back of his hand while rehearsing for his dance. Thus the postponement of his album release to 12 May.

HyunAh from 4Minute participated in the Hit song "LET IT GO", fellow SS501 member Kim Kyu Jong also participated in another song "RAINY HEARTS".


With this teaser broadcast, making all Heo Young Saeng's fans all the more eager for the release of his album.
