Tapsee Pannu is surely a lucky girl. She debuted in Tollywood with K Raghavendar Rao’s film starring Manchu Manoj and then signed her next with his brother Manchu Vishnu. She now got into Bollywood with David Dhawan’s film which will go on floors soon. She is also busy in Tamil. Her Tamil movie ‘Aadukalam’ with Dhanush did well in Tamil and she is reportedly being roped in by superstar Suriya in his next movie.

Besides, Tapsee is also doing a Malayalam film ‘Doubles’ with Mammoty as the hero. This way she would be one of the youngest actresses to have acted in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam film industries. This season, Tapsee has ‘Mr.Perfect’ releasing in Telugu. Besides, she is busy shooting for ‘Veera’ in with Raviteja which will release next month. Producers claim it is easy to work with her as she puts in extra efforts to suit her roles. Besides, she learnt the language and now understands how to emote exactly in scenes. She is now preparing for Krishna Vamsi’s film ‘Mogudu’ in which she stars with Gopichand. Apparently, Krishna Vamsi is sending her CDs with details about her charecter and description of her role so that she can perform well. Vikram's Award Winning perfomance in 'Deiva Thiru Magan'

Vikram’s scorching heat performance in ‘Pithamaghan’ won him incredible accolades that includes National award. Although the actor continued to gear up for power-packed performances in various movies, he wasn’t able to bag the honors again. But now, the actor keeps his fingers crossed that his upcoming film ‘Deiva Thiru Magan’.

Srikanth now full of confidence he signed a new project Ethiri En 3

Srikanth is full of confidence. The actor is keen to make a comeback in Kollywood, with a couple of promising projects on his hand. While one of them is an open secret (‘Nanban’), the other film is ‘Ethiri En 3’. Directed by Ramkumar, the film will be an urban entertainer which would revolve around the life of a software professional. “It will show some darker sides of city life,” reveals Srikanth.

Shedding more light, he says, “A simple man from an ordinary background becomes a techie. In the city, he has to come across certain problems. How he faces hurdles before him is the crux.” Saying that he is more careful while choosing scripts, Srikanth says, “I signed Ethiri En 3 only after I got thoroughly convinced that it will be a good follow-up to Nanban. It has all the requisite elements to become a hit.”

Surya's much awaited movie "Ezham Arivu" music will lauch on June 2011

The music launch of film maker Murugadoss' much awaited Ezham Arivu will take place at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai in June, 2011. The film is based on a circus artiste and Suriya plays the role of a trapeze artiste cum animal trainer. Shruti Haasan and Abhinaya are the heroines. Harris Jayaraj is currently busy composing the songs for the film.

The actor Suriya has performed all the circus acts himself without using a body double in any of the sequences. Besides his circus acts, the actor will also perform several innovative stunts in the film. A special trainer from Rajkamal Circus was appointed to teach him the jumps and other special items he performs in the movie. According to sources, Suriya is also planning to perform the circus stunts he has learnt during the 7Aum Arivu music launch for his fans.

Multilingul song in Harris Jayaraj's Nanban

Language has no barriers, they say. Proving this now is Harris Jayaraj and Madan Karky, who have come out with a song that will have lyrics in more than 10 different languages.

The music composer-lyricist duo is doing this experiement for Vijay-Jiiva-Srikanth starrer 'Nanban', a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Three Idiots' and directed by Shankar.

"The song features words from 15 different world languages. Director Shankar and Harris have always encouraged me to experiment with lyrics in their projects. A big thanks to them," says the son of 'Kaviperarasu' Vairamuthu.

On his part, Harris says, "Madan Karky has done a tremendous job by using more than 10 languages in one song. Very interesting and applaudable job indeed." The number is crooned by Vijay Prakash and is said to be one of the highlights of 'Nanban'.

President Pratibha Patil on Friday presented the second lot of Padma awards for 2011 to 64 winners, including Telugu film star Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Among the Padma Shri awardees were actors Kajol Devgan and Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan, singer Usha Uthup, filmmaker Girish Kasaravalli, sportspersons Gagan Narang and Krishna Poonia, Tamil scholar Avvai Natarajan, legal expert Upendra Baxi among others.
Usha Uthup is a name torecon with in music industry. A versatile singer and an actress, she was the first one to cut music albums. Her songs with Western touch alays mesmerised masses. Three cheers to Usha Uthup for winning the coveted honour.

Superstar Rajanikanth's new flick "Rana" kickstarted on March 30

Superstar Rajinikanth’s KS Ravikumar directed Rana, kickstarted on March 30 Wednesday with a photo-shoot  at AVM studios in Chennai.

Rana is a co-production between Ocher Studios and Eros International. The leading lady Deepika Padukone has also flown in to Chennai for the photo-shoot, which will decide the ‘look of the film’. The shoot of Rana will commence end April in London. All preparations and the final star cast will be decided in the next few days.

Katrina Kaif pair with Vikram in Tamil Movie

Vikram has wrapped up his part in his upcoming film ‘Deiva Thirumagan.’ Director Vijay who won critical acclaim with his ‘Madraspattinam’ is helming this project. The film sees Vikram in the lead role with Anushka as his pair. Supporting the lead pair would be performances from Amala Paul and comedian Santhanam.

Vijay has revealed that the film has come out much better than expected thanks to the total involvement of the lead guy Vikram, who used to give the director many options for a single shot, say sources. The director also reveals that ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ is about the matters of the head and heart and the battle between the two. Now there is news doing the rounds that Vikram will be doing his next with Kannan who is behind the computer graphics in most of Shankar’s films. The film which is reported to have been titled ‘Karikalan’ is touted to involve a mega budget and show some magic on screen in terms of visual effects. There are reports that the director and hero are trying to rope in Bollywood babe Katrina Kaif! Now if this works out then this will be Katrina’s first take in Kollywood, and she would be lucky to share screen space with a versatile actor like Vikram.

Ileana dreams satisfied, she will work with Rajanikanth

Goan beauty Ileana D Cruz is all set to romance Superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming film ‘Rana’. Rajini plays triple role in this movie which will be directed by K S Ravikumar. While Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone will romance one of the Rajinis’, Ileana is said to be a heroine for the other Rajini.

The movie shoot will start on April 18th. For senior Rajni look, though Rekha was contacted to be starred with Rajnikanth, the producers backed out as she demanded Rs 4 crore for the role. Archana spicy and hot Bed Room Scene In Shanti Movie

Earlier there was a statement by the actress Archana that she was compelled to do bold scenes in the upcoming Tamil movie Shanti. Telugu actress Archana, who made in to Tamil in the movie Veluthu Kattu , directed by SA Chandrasekar, had also acted in movies like Puzhal and Ramanathapuram.

Archana plays the female lead in Shanthi, while Adithya plays the male lead and the movie is directed by Murali Vishwa. During its production, the news was doing the rounds that the actress refused to do an intimate bed room scene which required her to do love making and kissing scenes, despite the actress knowing that she is supposed to do such scenes when she signed the movie. Later the actress issued a statement saying that she was forced to do such intimate scenes under compulsion. Reports has it that the Director decided to replace Archana with another one, hearing which Archana came back in to the project and did the scene with 12 retakes. When many films are postponing their movies due to the cricket fever and exams, this movie Shanti managed to get 80 screens, that too in some of the best screens in Tamil Nadu and will be released soon. Now the movie’s scenes are found to be hot on net with many scenes been uploaded on the internet.
